Charli XCX makes historical milestone with new releases

Charli XCX has added a new feather to her cap with a history-making record she has recently achieved. 

The 33-year-old pop superstar just became the first ever British female artist to have hit the number one spot with two albums in the same year in the U.K. 

The BRAT hitmaker earned the milestone with her albums Wuthering Heights and Music, Fashion, Film, released this year.

Celebrating the milestone, fans flocked to social media and wrote, "Charli becoming the first British woman to land two new No. 1s in one year is actually insane. She’s just operating on a different level right now."

Another added, "Shes making UK chart history as the FIRST British female artist to score TWO No. 1 albums in a single calendar year is absolute legend status, she is completely running pop music right now!"

While a third chimed in, "Charli XCX is really in her own lane right now. Two No. 1 albums in one year is historic. The UK run is crazy!" and "the way she really said let me just rewrite british music history real quick and then went back to posting," wrote another.

More added, "well deserved."
