Jennifer Aniston's beau, Jim Curtis, reportedly did not like his girlfriend's recent comment about her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

​Aniston and her Friends costar Lisa Kudrow recently reminisced over the fond days on the set of their sitcom drama called the Thanksgiving episodes, when Pitt made a cameo on the show, "hilarious" on Variety’s "Actors on Actors."

​Now, a source told Closer that the Morning Show star's remark has caused some unease between her and her now-boyfriend Curtis.

​"It’s been a surprising source of tension because Jen sees it as healthy and mature, while Jim thinks some relationships are better left in the past," the insider said.

​"He insists he’s not jealous but, let’s face it, if anyone could make a man jealous it would be Brad Pitt," they added.

​Pitt made an appearance during Friends’ eighth season as Will Colbert, who was Monica and Ross's high school friend but hated Rachel, played by Aniston.

​When Pitt made the appearance on the show, he was still married to Aniston.

​The tattler further added that Aniston's move of speaking about Brad was "deliberate" because by "speaking so warmly about Brad" she was "showing that there are no hard feelings and that she’s genuinely happy to see him doing well."

​Aniston "feels she’s finally reached a place where she can look back on that chapter of her life without anger or sadness and simply appreciate the good memories," the source noted.​

​The actress's well-being guru boyfriend "knows firsthand how much pain Jen went through because of that relationship, and he struggles to understand why she’d want to keep the door open to any sort of friendship."
