Kanye West wants 'another' chance after UK visa ban

A few months ago, the UK banned Kanye West from entering the country after he was due to perform at the Wireless Festival.

This decision seemed to have kicked off a domino effect as a string of other countries where Ye was tipped to perform barred him.

But a recent report indicated the Chicago rapper has not given up hope of performing in the UK.

According to The Sun, the Grammy winner is open to working with British authorities to allay their concerns about the rapper's past controversial remarks.

"He knows that it takes time to convince and persuade authorities but is willing to work with them so that they have a better understanding of his prior bipolar episode."

The source shared that the Donda hitmaker has a sizeable fanbase in the UK, which makes him hopeful about returning to the stage in the country.

"Ye has a huge fan base in the UK and is determined to come here and perform again."

"He has a long history of live shows and major festival appearances in the UK and has an affinity for the country and its people."

However, the West is facing contrasting treatment in different countries.

As the plug was pulled on his shows in France, Poland, and Switzerland, his shows in the U.S., Türkiye, and the Netherlands went on.

It is worth noting that Ye has repeatedly apologized for his anti-semitic remarks.

Yet, some of his critics remain unconvinced of his sincerity.
