Jesy Nelson breaks silence on shocking split from Zion Foster

Jesy Nelson finally broke the silence on her shocking split from Zion Foster.

The former Little Mix star revealed that her relationship with Zion ended after their twin daughters were diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA1).

"It is a very traumatic thing we have both been through," Jesy said in a new installment of her Prime Video series, titled Jesy Nelson: Life Changing.

"I think it's quite inevitable for things like this to happen as a couple," she continued. "Like, I don't think it's like a shock that we've broken up, because you'll either be a team or it can tear you apart, and unfortunately, I feel like that's what it's done to Zi and I."

The Love Me Like You hitmaker insisted that there's no bad blood between her and Zion, adding that they will do their best to raise their daughters together.

"We still get on. There's no, there's no bad feeling. My main priority is them, so like, I just want to be the best mum for them. I want to have the best energy, and I want to be positive, and the house was not like that when we were together," said Jesy.

"Obviously, because we were both dealing with this situation completely differently, and together we were just clashing. So I decided we would be better off apart," she added.

The new episode also shows the moment the pair were informed about their twins' diagnosis.

"I know I sound really negative now but it is hard to accept that this is going to be their life now. It just feels like it is getting worse and worse. It is so hard. I really thought my heartache was over. I can’t believe this is happening. I feel so heartbroken," said Jesy.

Zion added, "I am not equipped to deal with this, I am out of my depth, emotionally physically and mentally. At the moment I am just surviving."
