Billy Ray Cyrus shares unseen snap of Miley with grandad Roy

Billy Ray Cyrus is remembering his dad, Ron Cyrus, on dad's special day with an unseen sweet childhood snap of Miley Cyrus with her grandfather.

The country singer took to his Instagram account on Monday to mark Father's Day with a touching note for his late dad, recalling his final message.

"My dad passed away in 2006 while we were filming the first season of Hannah Montana in LA. When I got home after his funeral, I found his message on the answering machine," Billy Ray looked back.

Revealing his dad's favorite song, Billy shared, “How’ve You Been” was one of his favorite songs.

Billy Ray then revealed that, in honor of his late dad, he included his final message in his new Album, The Hill, the proud son and dad added, "@braisonccyrus and I recorded it and included it on THE HILL!!!"

The Achy Breaky Heart singer also shared throwback snaps of Roy with granddaughters Noah and Miley, sitting on his lap during their childhood.

"These photos are some of my favorite memories... Dad with @mileycyrus and @noahcyrus," Billy Ray penned.

"Thinking of him tonight before I take the stage so I decided to post a little early," he said, referring to his June 20th concert at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth.

"Happy Father’s Day," he concluded.
