Majority of Americans question Trump’s fitness for office

A majority of American citizens are of the view that President Donald Trump is mentally and physically unfit to serve effectively.

According to a Washington Post, ABC News and Ipsos opinion poll, 59 per cent of respondents said that President Trump’s mental ability is not sufficient for national leadership. The same survey showed that 55 per cent of Americans consider his physical health not suitable for the demands of the office.

Meanwhile, 67 per cent of those surveyed stated that they do not believe Trump is capable of taking important decisions.

Addressing the Burns Summit, President Trump stated that he does not consider himself older than Joe Biden, adding that he still feels as he did 50 years ago.
