Prince William admits shocking new habit inspired by Kate Middleton
Prince William has reportedly started swimming in extreme cold water after his wife Kate Middleton incorporated the practice in her routine as a health measure following her cancer diagnosis.
As per a report by Radaronline.com, the practice marked a major shift in William, who once called the hobby too rough to enjoy.
A royal source told the outlet, "William has come around to seeing that Catherine's regimen isn't just about pushing limits."
"She genuinely believes the cold jolt helps the body handle both mental and physical strain, and he wanted to be part of something that clearly supports her," the insider added.
Kate revealed in a previous interview on the podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby IN 2023 about her hobby of plunging into icy lakes and seas.
She also revealed at the time that William called the practice disturbing.
However, during a recent visit to Colwyn Bay in Wales, his comments revealed that he now practices the ritual himself.
"You feel great afterwards," William said agreeingly, "I love it. I do a lot of yelling and screaming when I get in."
A second source who was present at the conversation revealed, "He mentioned he had begun giving it a try and was taken aback by how invigorating it was. He joked that he still shouts his way into the water, but he also said the after-effects were remarkable."
