Paris Hilton finally clears air on Ghislaine Maxwell controversial claims

Paris Hilton has finally set the record straight on claims that Ghislaine Maxwell tried to recruit her for convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In Lifetime's 2020 documentary, Surviving Jeffrey Epstein, a former acquaintance of Maxwell's alleged that media personality was just 19 when she was spotted by Maxwell at a party, who reportedly told friends she had set her sights for Epstein.

Addressing the sensational claims made by Maxwell in an interview with The Sunday Times, Hilton revealed, “I don't even remember ever meeting her.”

Reflecting on her name being dragged at the time in the media, the model added, “I am such a good clickbait name.”

Maxwell, who dated notorious sex offender Epstein for several years in the 90, was reported to be looking for girls who would date Epstein in those parties.

Earlier in 2021, she was convicted and sentenced for her role as Epstein's 'chief recruiter' and a partner in his sex trafficking operation.

The British socialite was later sentenced to 20 years in prison the following year.

In the documentary, Christopher Mason, a British journalist and former acquaintance of Maxwell's, recalled what she allegedly said to a friend at the party.

“A friend of mine was at a party and Ghislaine said, 'Oh my God, who's that?' and was looking at this pretty, young, sort of teenage girl,” stated Mason.

“And she said, 'Do you know her?' My friend said, 'Yes, she's called Paris Hilton.' And Ghislaine said, 'God, she'd be perfect for Jeffrey. Could you introduce us?’”

Meanwhile, Epstein died by suicide in jail in August 2019 while in custody on federal charges for the sex trafficking of minors.
