Prince William dethrones Prince Harry in US

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's recent activities in the United States seem to have increased their influence in the country where they are living since stepping down as senior members of the British royal family.

They have made headlines with their Netflix projects and latest appearance in Los Angeles after the destruction caused by the devastating fires.

The couple often remain in the news for one reason or other, with their supporters claiming that they're more popular than Prince William and Kate Middleton, the future king and the queen of the United Kingdom.

But  a latest report on the the donations collected by William and Harry's organizations speaks volumes of William's popularity in the US.

The American Friends of The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales more than doubled its contribution to £6.1 million from £2.7 million in the previous year, said the annual report on the charitable organizations run by Prince William and Prince Harry.

It said that this single American contribution alone exceeds the total amount raised by the Archewell Foundation.

The Earthshot Prize's founding partners contributed £14.4 million to the environmental initiative.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Archewell Foundation more than doubled its fundraising in 2023, securing £4.1 million in grants compared to £1.5 million the previous year.

Citing the latest annual report, GB News reported that  The Earthshot Prize, Prince William's environmental initiative, has reported a total income of £23.5 million.
