Kate Middleton makes surprising admission about her cancer treatment

Kate Middleton recently made a surprising admission about her cancer treatment while meeting patients at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she underwent preventative chemotherapy.

The Princess of Wales surprised cancer patients at the hospital as she made her first public appearance of the year and shared her personal experiences with them.

In a heartfelt conversation with one patient, Katherine Field, Kate revealed that she had formed an unexpected bond with the chemotherapy port that had been implanted in her body during her treatment.

As per Daily Mail, the Princess said, "I got so attached to it," before jokingly adding that she grew to “love” her port and was initially hesitant to have it removed when given the option.

Following her visit, Kate dropped a health update on X, writing, "It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery.”

"As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead.

“There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support."
