Heidi Montag thanks fans for THIS milestone after losing her home

Heidi Montag, an American singer, has lost the home that she shares with her husband, Spencer Pratt, in the L.A. wildfires.

The couple had to escape the premises without being able to grab any of their belongings.

To show their support, fans of the singer have begun to stream her album, Superficial, which came out in 2010.

The demand from new listeners, which includes model Emily Ratajkowski, caused it to jump to the top of the charts on iTunes.

The album had initially been a flop upon its release, only managing to sell around 1000 copies.

Montag took to social media to express her gratitude towards the fans, “Thank you for the overwhelming love and support of my music, and really rallying behind us in this devastating time, and making it such a blessing.”

She added, “Thank you for helping support us, helping build us back up, helping to encourage us, give us hope and faith and excitement in such a dark, dark time, so thank you so much.”

Celebrating the original release of the album, she noted, “It's the 15 year anniversary of Superficial, so the timing is crazy, it's just so crazy. Thank you.”

After evacuating their home, Heidi Montag admitted that while she was overwhelmed by the tragedy, she was grateful they had made it out safe.
