One Direction singers Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan to reunite in Sunderland?

OOne Direction fans are in for a treat as Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan are gearing up to take the same stage.

The former bandmates have arrived in Sunderland to perform as part of the star-studded lineup at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2026.

Both artists are performing as solo acts over the bank holiday weekend (May 22-24) at the festival held in Herrington Country Park.

Louis, 34, took the stage on Saturday, May 23, while Niall, 32, is set to perform on Sunday, May 24.

In addition, they are sharing the stage with other major acts like Olivia Dean, Zara Larsson, Fatboy Slim, and Ellie Goulding.

Radio 1's Big Weekend is a massive annual outdoor festival that kicks off the UK's summer music season.

Notably, the Lemonade singer’s performance at the music festival came as a part of his ongoing How Did We Get Here? world tour.

Following his live gig, he shared a photo from the concert on his official Instagram Stories with the caption “Show 28,” marking the latest stop on the tour.

As for Niall, who recently dropped his new song End of an Era from his upocming album Dinner Party, he left a reminder for his fans on his social media, writing, “see you tomorrow sunderland.”
